The 2002 Gen 6 was the first to come with the 12 hole injectors.

From an Online review of the time:
" The VFR's excellent PGM-FI fuel injection system has also been upgraded with a set of new 12-hole injectors replacing the one-hole injectors currently used to realise finer fuel atomisation. Combustion efficiency is also aided by new, hot-firing iridium spark plugs, which are ignited by compact, new, high-energy 'coil-on-plug' spark plug caps. "

So can 5th gens use these injectors? Or are the electrical systems different that controls the injectors?

Nope (but I am parroting what I read elsewhere on this board). The gen6 injectors are different when it comes to most every dimension.

    Yup, not even close.

Probably the only way to do it would be to change out the entire throttle body assembly from a VTEC.

EBAY perhaps? But the benefits are so miniscule, there's really not much point.
