well 8 months in the making, but i finally finished my 1986 vfr 750 fg cafe racer. its been a long & hard 8 months, with all the total rebuild headackes & hassles. this bike has been stood for 10 years, untill i breathed some new life into it. total cost of projec t was £500. litres of juice for my geni & gallons of strongbow, but i got there in the end. time to enjoy my creation.

That is just plain awesome. I would love to see that in person. I just got back from a show that featured a lot of cafe racers, and the bug bit me. You should post more pics, a list of stuff you bought for yours, and the do's and do not's of a build. I wonder if you have the only V-4 cafe racer in existance. Wouldn't be surprised.

    Hi,
My FG is sitting in the garage waiting for something similar to happen, so this is inspirational.
Did you use clip-ons? I was wondering if I could just put the originals under the top yoke.
    Great stuff
