The seat cowl is something we batted around quite a bit. 2 things that are holding us back on it is this bike will likely be used on-post somewhere in the next 6 months and will likely have some sort of pack or bag strapped on back there alot, and second id that the key/lock to remove the seat is actually on the rear left in the padding. Kinda make that hard to practically use other than the "look cool" factor. Current Idea on paint is a dark silver called "charcoal mist metalic" and maybe a black stripe. Gonna wait to make that call when all body parts are built, repared and installed.

Thats what I was thinking, But the thought of stenciling "35 PSI" on the front fender & "MOGAS" on the tank is kinda funny.

I agree with you. The seller outright LIED to you and cheated you by not telling you everything.
Of coarse if you ask then they will just lie and say they did not know.

Do you hear that you LIARS-CHEATERS out there!!!! I hope some day someone does come back and beat the hell out of you.
Not kill you- but just make you wish you were dead.

The tail is still a work in progress.

This weekend I need to figure exactly how the tail light is going to be set into it. Then the tail can be finished up, side covers and a final plan on the front cowl/fly screen can be figured out.

After 3 attempts to build a fly screen for this bike, and all looking like crap, I went to plan B. I lowered the gages down about 3 or 4 inches and I'm happier with the look...

Still fighting with the tail & tail light, as well as how the plate and rear turn signals are gonna end up back there. This is the next big problem I plan to attack.
What IS finished up and behind me is the can. It's on, finished and solid as a rock.

The tail, side covers & sealing up the front wiring behind the headlight are the things that need to be knocked next. As soon as time permits I will get that done and get this 'lil bike to paint.
