    Hi Everyone,

I'm in my early 40's live in Sydney Australia and have been happily married since 1992. Despite this when I was in my twenties in 1995 I fell in love with a gorgeous red head - a 94 VFR750. After about two years I had to give up my mistress because I couldn't afford her with the normal domestic committments eg. mortgages etc and I had to let her run off with another man.

About a year ago, I ran into her in a classified ad in the paper, we made contact and I paid her to come and live with me full time. As it turns out it wasn't really her it was her identical twin sister 94 VFR750. Well the wife wasn't very happy because at the time I already had another live in mistress - a Triumph Street Triple R.

In early Jan a cager wearing a loose fitting muslim head dress (ie no peripheral vision) did a u-turn in front of me) and took my Street Triple away from me. I was pretty banged up and two weeks ago I had a shoulder operation (rotator cuff and labrum) and I'm laid up for at least three months. Still while I was recovering I fell in love with a silver haired nurse a BMW K1300s - I paid for her affections with the Street Triple's life insurance money. Ooo she is one fast woman.

I've got to say that when I got my VFR mistress back I just wanted to run my fingers across her tank and ride her all night long  I love the sound she makes when I squeeze her right hand and hold on tight.

Anyway a big g'day from Sydney Australia. I've put some pictures of my mistresses for you to cast your eyes over. Just remember to look not touch

Nice story, theres one to tell the grandkids someday... Bummer about the triple, glad to hear your recovering. How'd you like the triumph? I think I might like to get a street triple 675 someday.

I bought the STR because of its ergonomics which are easy on the wrists and its lowish seat since I'm a bit of a gorilla with short legs and a long torso. It's a phenominal bike - instant throttle response - very light - very flickable. It's a real scalpel on tight twisty roads. I had the full titanium race pipes and sound was intoxicating - but I think the VFR is better - it's deeper and more v8 like.

The VFR750 FR despite being 16 years old isn't as agile but isn't embarrassed by the triple believe it or not. The front of Street Triple did genuine power wheelies in first and occasionally in second when being pushed. Both bikes have great low down torque which was another reason I chose the STR. In summary it has all the benefits of the VFR without the weight - the only disadvantage was it was slightly high revving and less comfortable for light touring duties. Mind you it was still capable but I'm talking in relative terms.

Thanks, I'll keep my VFR for my sport touring duties as its about as big a bike as my 5'7" 140 pounds can handle. All I need to add to it are Helibars and hard cases to complete the package. I'm interested in the street triple for a little bike to commute and have fun with. From what I've heard the street triple beats the pants off the ducati monster 696.
