I think I hear it, then realize I don't...I think I hear something else and think that it is that, but it's not...sometimes I think I hear nothing, but I think I should hear something, but I don't..

    ....

I've got an '04 and I hear it all the time when I easy in and out of vtech. I don't hear it so much when under hard acceleration through vtech(but that could be because I'm under hard acceleration and I'm paying attention to what's going on out in front of me). It's always been like that on my bike and I've put about 20,000 miles on her. I've never thought it was out of the ordinary so I've never worried about it and I'm not going to start now.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I'm running gutted headers into a Leo Vince slipon with the baffles removed and I can still hear the click when the vtech engages and disengages. It's just one of those things I noticed one day and now I'm tuned into it so I hear almost everytime.

Well, I guess I should've replaced mine about 22000 miles ago because that's how long I've been hearing mine. I have heard it since mile 1. I think I'll choose not to worry about it and just ride.

I have an 06 and the relay made a loud click since new. Until recently it stopped working in colder temps. Only 14k km on it. Looks like I may have to replace it. Anyone know where it is located and part # ?
