That sucks. Good luck, hopefully he comes thru with your parts.

I still need to pull the carbs off my VFR and rejet it, just too many projects right now. Hopefully in the next week or so.

Hi. I am in ABQ and have two 2nd gen's: one 87 pearl white, running, bike, and one 87 blue, not running, . Did you get your parts yet from Chuck? From what I understand he is a great guy but will take about 8 - 9 months to get your parts to you. Like you, too many projects andneed to focus. Wanted to sell the blue but found out today the motor is stuck so the sale fell thru. I dumped Marvel Mystery Oil in it tonight and hopefully it will unfreeze the motor. I need the room in the garage and would like to get it out of the way.

Well it hasn't snowed yet! In fact it's been unseasonably warm huh?

I know it's late notice but was thinking of a ride down do Madrid today. I'm located near Ft. Marcy park and will stop by the Starbucks at DeVargas at 1pm. Meet up there if you wanna ride down.

Was a little later than 1pm - closer to 1:30 and did a drive by near Starbucks but didn't see any bikes around.

Next time I'll try post up a little more in advance.

The bike as officially taken my cars space in the garage for the season :)

Currently my schedule is best suited for Sunday's but Saturdays may soon be available as well. There are a various group of riders that meet at either the Starbucks or by the Java Joes across from Alberstsons both at the DeVargas Mall on Sunday's around 10am.

It's a roll of the dice who will show up, but I usually ride by there or stop for a morning cup before deciding to head North or South?

Thus Sunday is Easter so it's hard to say if anyone will show and I wouldn't recommend heading North this weekend due to heavy foot/car traffic going to Chimayo.

You can always PM me here if you're free on the weekends or want to get in a quick ride before sundown.

Great. I'll PM you when the bike makes it here. Maybe I'll even stop by on a Sunday with my BMW DS.

A group of varied bikes/riders will be leaving tomorrow (Sunday) from the Java Joe's at Devargas Mall at 10am. Not planned route as yet - so show up if you can.

    P.A.C.E. is applicable.

    Oops, just saw this.

I did do a ride with a friend up through Nambe, Chimayo, Penasco, Mora, Las Vegas. Nice views of the fire, and wayyyy too much crosswind, but a good ride nonetheless.

I'd have rather gone your way.

NM4 from Los Alamos through to Jemez Springs is under repaving and covered in gravel...... Might be that way for a few weeks.
