Hello lads and lassies

Im 30 years old and own 3 hondas, a 2000 Vfr800 fi y, HISS model, 06 CBR1000rr Fireblade and an American import CBR600 F3 1995 racebike

I bought the VFR off my mate as i always admired it and he bought something bigger

It had been in an underground carpark for a while and was good and dirty and needed a bit of a tidying. I've done that a bit and there had been an fi light issue and the speedo not the digital display were working. we found a corroded spade in an engine stop relay which we replace, and we had looped a break in the pcb on the rear of the clocks and the digital display started to work but no speedo.

im having difficulty finding replacement clocks for a vfr800 fiy as all clocks i have come across are for pre HISS models.. the HISS works through the clocks

What is this HISS you speak of?

 

Dosen't it stand for Honda Immobilizer Security System or some nonsense???? We don't have HISS in the states, aparently nobody steals bikes here............:doh::doh: :welcome: Rambo, good luck with your new girl

Breaker in midlands here reckons he has sourced me a set of HISS compatible clocks in Holland after he tried the UK as well. The only difference will be that it will read in kmph instead of mph, I hope they work, will keep you all updated
