the video looked to me like a bent wheel...... but since you had it checked and a bent wheel it is.. your troubles are half over... get a "new one" and call it good.

 

Classic told-ya-so moment. Hate when that happens...lol

Playing devil's advocate so please bear with me here, isn't the best method to check the runout? This would tell you, accurately, how much the rim is out.

 

I don't have the knowledge on how to do that nor do I have the equipment. So I have to rely on the experts, which in this case is Interstate Honda here in Fort Collins. :tongue:

 

Except to satisfy curiosity I don't think you need to know how much it is out of spec, only that it is out of spec. Fact is that the wheel wobbles and that's unacceptable. Of course, I am assuming that he did confirm this as you say and since he declared that the tire is ok that appears to be the case.

 

Rgr that. It was odd that I never felt shaking or anything, but I had two people come up beside me at stop lights and let me know it was wobbling. Not something to fill one with a feeling of comfort. :tongue:

 

When wheels wobble you will fall down, sometimes.
