<DG looks away disgusted and mutters "Damn him..." then places fist in front of mouth and bites knuckle of index finger>

I have seriously considered both of those. Triumph triples sound wicked for sure....
Having bought into the Harley-Davidson "mystique" ( which is close to the word mistake...Im just sayin' ) a few years ago, i have come to realize what a great street engine the V-twin could be if it made power and ran without pinging.

Gawd. Think about the poor flat rate bastard that had to look at those service bulletins. Why is it that people get emotionally involved in their machines. Manufacturers fuc* up/its a fact of life, if it walks like a duck and qacks like a duck, its a freaking duck. Those mini-cepters met the demise they deserved. I would toss you the keys to my EX 500 and like to see your reaction. There is a reason they made that particular bike for 20 years. Cant say that about the mini-schleptor...

FYI - Western Canadian Snowbirds do Arizona and other places out West. It's the Ontario and Eastern Canada Snowbird who do Florida. Not sure what Wax with your Chit means...

Well thanks for the edmucation, If you were down my way we could do some roll ons from 50mph and then maybe some top end runs out in the everglades. Wax ur chit is a red-neck term, means just stomp on ur stuff and ride circles around you  but I may be wrong. Wrong about the red-neck term not about the other stuff.

I've ridden an EX500 and it didn't come close to my VF500.

    The Ninja felt gutless.

Well....i see this thread has gone to hell since i last checked it.

FWIW...i am a "redneck", and I've never heard the term "wax you with my chit". Sounds like some sort of deprived sex act to me...
