Hello - I recently bought an 03 VFR. Things did not work out well and I ended up returning the bike to the dealer. I have found an 04 VFR for sale in Sumter, SC and I am checking if there are any VFRWorld members there or nearby. My plan is to come get the bike and ride back to NYC. Checking for travel info to Sumter SC. I checked and saw that Sumter is the County seat and looks like there are some nice roads there.
I lived in Sumter for 18 months when I was stationed at Shaw AFB. There are no good roads around the base or the town. Around Columbia, there are plenty. There might be a few around Lakes Marion & Moultrie but I can't think of a single good road around Sumter. If you happen to like chicken fingers, there is a chain restaurant in the south callede Zaxby's. I would walk to Virginia right now to get some of their food. There is a Zaxby's in Sumter by the mall. Highly recommended vittles. Want to by a mint 2001 & save yourself the drive to SC? KC-10 FE out... lane: :usa2:
