VFR750 wheel on Gen 5

Is it possible to use a VFR 750 1991 wheel on a VFR800 2001?

In the post "wheel swap" he says that the wheels are the same from 98-09

I couldn't find any info on this..

I am interested in if modification is required to fit as well..

Front does not fit. Rear fits fine.

I wasn't worried about the front wheel just the rear.

 

Thanks, and if you're just looking for the rear, you're golden. Straight bolt up, even takes the 180/55-17 tire.

Finding one for a decent price will be your downfall. Just keep an eye on ebay and one will eventually pop up.

 

Just for kicks, what would you consider to be a decent price?

 

Paid $350 for mine. Not a great deal but it is what it cost. I think that is the ball park your in.

 

I'm selling mine for $310 shipped anywhere in the lower 48.

 

I found a white rim in the UK.

Cost me about 300AUD delivered. I am happy with that.

Now I just need to decide what colour will best compliment my machine..
