Electrical Issue? '04 VFR

Just curious if anyone has seen or heard of this. I was cruising this morning on the highway and for no apparent reason all my lights, etc. just went out and came back on. It did this about three times. Pretty nerve racking. Before all this happened, I had just got done have the oil changed and had my front two turn signals fixed. When I got on the bike, the very first turn, the bike just cut out. On the ride home this evening, I was cruising about 35 mph, and the bike just went dead. I was able to restart while coasting. Weird stuff. Any ideas????

 

Has the wiring harness update been done?

 

No. I did take my bike to the dealer and they are going to do that work on it. You think this should cure it?

 

If not done it is very likely your issue.

 

The problem was a bad wiring harness. Took it to the dealer and it was replaced. No problems since.
