Congrats! It's a great machine and you'll certainly enjoy exploring the finer points in the coming 1000 miles or so.

    Now post some pics!!

Congrats Eric. I know you will have as much fun with your sixth gen as I am having. Just got mine about 6 weeks ago. Can't stay away from it.
Put the key in the side under the seat on the left side and that will unlock the seat where the book is.
    Have fun

The problem with an 06, is that they get too damned many miles on them too fast. Welcome to the board. Drink some beers and join the insanity.

this is my second bike actually. I have a 95 Harley Fatboy.

I must admit it must look a bit strange riding down the street on my vfr wearing a skull cap and Harley jacket. It will take me a bit of time to get the proper "gear"

thanks wrestler, I did figure out the seat and found my owners manual. Hey, I like the orange vfr nice color. My first choice while i was looking was black, my second was orange.
I see your in Atlanta, my dad is in jonesboro, the roads down there are great for riding, no potholes, ect. I am going to visit him the end October and plan on renting a bike for a day. ( dad has a goldwing ) and do some riding. Do you have any suggestions on where to rent a bike?
