I've been member of so many forums over the past years I may or may not have belonged to this one in the past. I've recently purchased a Y2K model, having switched to an 07 FZ1. I find I don't want to ride the Yamaha anymore. I really missed the v4 characteristics, and Honda smoothness!

The Yellow Honda is all stock, with a seat cowl included -- no broken tabs! I don't particularly like the cowl and plan to sell it. The only mods planned are a sargent seat and perhaps heli-bars.

Welcome to the World. I ride an '04 FZ1 gen1. I find it a verry strong, capable, fun bike. If any Viffer would drive me away from it, it would be gen 5.

Thanks -- The FZ1 does have considerably more power, but it takes high revs to wring it out.

It's nice to have both available!

Randy -- I hope to get to BC someday , was in Toronto a couple of weeks ago, travelled across Canada to Sault Ste. Marie.

I became disillusioned with VFR when they dropped the geared cams and added "V-tech" but then finally came to a decision to get another Y2K model and make it last. Another consideration was the high-frequency vibration with the inline-4 of the FZ -- it took the fun out of longer rides due to my hand/wrist problems.
