Rare SportBikes For Sale shows it listed originally for $25,000, but then a week later the price was raised to $30,000.

 

Glad I do not have that kind of money sitting around. Or a Taco Bell spork for that matter.

I might be able to afford it if I got rid of a kid, or two, or three. And to answer rustedroot's question, I would park it. It would be for show only.

 

Slowly rotating turntable with strategically placed spotlights? And softly playing in the background could be that piano music from the HRC movie showing them lovingly handbuilding each bike? Maybe even a bigscreen LCD playing Joey Dunlop videos from the IOMTT races?



Myself, if I had enough coin to afford the thing, it'd definitely be ridden hard and put away wet.

Besides, how much depreciation would it really lose with miles on it? Probably close to the same amount that any current sportbike would.

I use to have one of these jewels. I put a smaller front sprocket, that really

helped a lot. Overheating was a big issue that I never solved.

Why can't Honda put paint jobs and dzus fasteners like this on their new bikes?
