As this is my first posting, I hope I don't overstep any protocols. Some of you may know me from CBX World and I'm happy to have found this site.

I'm in the process of building a CBX Streetfighter and I'm using the '96 VFR750F rear swingarm. Since I bought the pieces individually, I'm not certain of the proper assembly of the lower shock link system. I've been searching all over the web but unable to find what I need.

All I need is a close-up photo for that area from one of these bikes so I can see the proper angles and attachments to the frame. If you are able to do this for me, please send the photo(s) to:

    jrluksik[at]wowway[dot]com

    I would be very appreciative.

    Thank-you,

    J.R.

Dunno if either of these pics will be helpful to you CBX-tras but here are a couple parts breakdown pics of the '96 VFR750 rear shock and swingarm assembly. Good Luck with your build.

I already have those parts blow-ups from Honda. What they don't show is how the lower link is attached to the frame and the angles on the attachment plates.
That's where a photo of this area on a bike would really help me so I don't get in a bind later.
Everthing else I have figured out.

    Thanks,
    J.R.

All of my parts look like the images above. Although the components in the link look different (no arrows on mine) I believe it provides me enough detail to fab the mounting.

It would appear as the "teeter-totter" has the dog-bone link just aft of center.

    Thanks for the help.
