    Hey guys, just bought a 2002 vfr 800. i also bought an HID kit. What I'm wondering is. is it a pain in the ass taking the front set of fairings off? thanks

    It's not that big of a pain, it's just time consuming. You have to remove the gauge surround to get to the two bolts that are holding the front fairing on. You may have to remove the two plastic pieces to the sides of the gauge surround but I can't remember. The bolts to the side fairings have to be removed as well.
