I have a 1st gen VFR750. One of the things which I like most about it is the total absence of engine vibration especially the high frequency type that makes you hands/feet go numb or tingle. All inline four engines I have had have all done it to some extent but there is NOTHING on my VFR. 120 mph cruising? NOTHING. Bimbling along enjoying the view? NOTHING. I recently had a 437 mile ride and never felt anything through the bars, pegs or seat.
Now, does the 1998 - 2001 VFR 800 vibrate through the bars or pegs? Has the amazing smoothness of the 750 been carried over? Owners experiences would be appreciated.
    Thanks!!

It's just as smooth, if not smoother. I've owned 15 VFRs and they all have some differences, but they all have very little vibration.

My stock bike was smooth as. Once I put a GPR hi rise pipe on I get some minor vibration through the seat when opening it up.. I can't comment on freeway riding with the new pipe due to the shitty weather this long weekend..

    Nothing I find uncomfortable.

A mate also recommended I reconsider an upgrade of my pegs due to replacements pegs or rearsets having no rubber.

To me it makes sense to have some level of absorbtion at all points of contact to the bike..
