vf500 redline is 12500
vf750 and vf1000 redline i think are both 10500
atleast we know what its not lol

im sure someone who actually knows about these bikes will help you out...
maybe they have different spedometers or tire sizes or something...

how big does the bike look? because the 1000's are about 600 lbs....

 

Red Gen 6 on North College Street (US127) in Harrodsburg around 4:30 Sunday 25 Sept.

 

Looking at the thing, I was thinking it was smaller than my 2003 and bigger than a Ninja 250.

But . . . I took the opportunity to jot down the ID number on the frame: RC2301FM. Which I understand translates to a VF700 FE-F.

Whatever that is.

Is This Cheating?

I participated in the Slimey Crud Run today. Of the 500+ bikes at the Pine Bluff, WI starting point I saw . . .

Four Generation 6 (2 red, 1 gloss black and a 2007 RWB).
Five Generation 5 (not a yellow to be seen).
Three Generation 4 (2 red, 1 copper)

I didn't stop and socialize at the Leland, WI end point, but did see a red Generation 6 there.

On the way back to Madison I'm thinking the red G4, gloss black G6 and 2007 RWB I encountered were "repeats".


So. Lucky 13.

Indy, sunday night on I465

Saw a 5th gen, heading north on I-465, east side of Indianapolis 9 pm. Clean machine, looked stock.

I thought to myself, that looks just like my bike!

about a week ago i saw a red gen 6, going southbound in I-355 in the northwest suburbs of illinois as i was going northbound, which is why i cant really tell ya what year it was, just a quick glimpse.

 

Saw two today, a RWB in Mt.City, and a red 5th Gen on the Playground at Shady.
