Brake rotor upgrade for the 84 500

    ok so i heard that Front brake rotors for Honda NS 400 R will fit my 84 vf500 is this right anyone know? cuz if thats true i can get rotors for half what bikebandit wants.

    Probably, many Hondas share the same mounting bolt pattern. Be careful to ensure they are the same diameter parts though. Effectively they will be equivalent to your OEM parts, maybe with just cross drilling to keep them cooler. A set of EBC rotors (commonly available) would most likely work even better because they are make from better steel than OEM parts.

    Im looking at these eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
    what do you think of those? Are the EBC ones still better? if so ill just go with those. Thanks for the advice man.

    Those are Chinese...... so.........

    Stainless steel is a good material for brake rotors. However, there are lots of different types of stainless steel. EBC's are certainly quite a bit better in the performance and quality departments. I'd say it doesn't hurt to give it a shot though!
