Well I just got back from Deal's Gap a few days ago and had a blast! I just turned 12k miles on my 3rd Gen and she didn't skip a beat. Other than the speeding ticket I got on the way home the trip was perfect. This was my first time staying at the Kickstand Lodge and I can't say enough about Mo and the others I met there! I'll definately be staying there again soon!

Hey Rollin, this is the MSF RiderCoach & USAF SportBike Coach in me speaking.

You have reached the limit of your bike utilizing your current riding skills. You have zero tire or lean left as illustrated by the photos. If you intend to "pick up the pace" at all, you need to either hit up a high performance riding school or start working on body positioning. Don't think I am picking apart your riding style, cause that's not the case.

    KC-10 FE out...

No offense taken and I appreciate the constructive criticism. I've been riding on the street for 20+ years now and I still know there is always room for improvement. I've looked into taking some high performance classes in the past but they all seem pretty expensive and I just haven't been able to afford it especially after getting married and starting a family. I know my body positioning could be much better but this was my very first run ever at the Dragon and I was already pretty exhausted since we had just arrived from Atlanta a short while earlier. I normally do try to set up my body position well before the turn but this was a brand new road to me with alot more frequent turns and switchbacks than I am normally used to. Because of this I found myself struggling to get into a good rythm. I would have loved to have ridden the Dragon a few more times but I had limited time there and we wanted to catch some of the other amazing roads in the area before we left. I've been seriously debating on getting a dedicated track bike and doing some track days to improve but that would mean giving up one of the other bikes and having to get permission from wifey. I'm pretty sure I know her answer to that already.

Sweet pics dude! Awesome meeting you and the other ATL boys. Make sure to join us again in April. I'm bringing "Angel", the 86 RWB.

Any man cooking food at 2 am for the next morning for me to eat is a friend in my book!

Dang man, it definitely looks like you have used up all of those PRs. I admire your beautifully clean pearl white bike. Mine no longer looks like my profile pic due to a crash at 2mph. I recommend the PR2s when those are used up. I just rolled over 9k on mine, and I think I can squeeze another k out of them since it is cooling off a little bit. I like the bump pad on the tank. Where did you get er?
