Coulda been the same red 5th gen I saw at Summit at beginning of summer (posted on here-sighting thread I think- back then), he said he hadn't seen this forum, so I told him about it...

unlikely, he was a DEMO rider and converted to full membership after his first 2 sessions. Also there was a VF500F trolling the parking lot

VIR North next Friday the 24th with Cornerspeed! I'm taking Roger Lyle's accredited race school at Summit so I can do this. Cornerspeed requires an accredited school to ride with them.

If any of the Richmond area VFR riders are interested in some decent group rides, check out MonkeyRiders.com :: Home. It's a national forum but is dominated by Richmond area riders. Good people and there's usually something going on every weekend along with a monthly Camp and Ride in WV. We also do a few maintenance days throughout the year and help each other out with some fun bike maintenance along with good food and a little beer. Kinda hard to get rides together on bike specific forums since we're all so spread out. There's a few NOVA riders on there as well.

Yep, I'm going out Sat. But nothing impressive, just some local roads probably. Elbow still hurts if I brake hard, physical therapy tomorrow, which makes it hurt worse for a day or two...

Did everyone in VA sell their bikes? WTF? I just realized that I didn't ride with any of yous at all this year except for Echo and Jahluv. Where you at BP, Titanium, and VFRider?

    How's the 675 Echo?

I never did get out with you either Larkin. Sadly I was just thinking about it this weekend (while cutting a driveway into some land that I purchased) the last I rode was Oct 18-19 for a trackday at VIR and that was over a month ago

    Holy resurrected thread Batman!

Yeah, the new D675SE is WONDERFUL; but, she's been sitting in my garage for a month or more... I'm up around 750+ miles on her, did go our with a guy from 675.net several weeks ago, did about 140 miles, but haven't been out since.

Work and other things have been kicking my butt, and when I did have time or feel like riding, the weather didn't cooperate. Because I'm so late to rise on the weekends, the time change has seriously shortened my window too...

At anyrate, I do love my new bike, now I just gotta find some time to ride her!

Rode yesterday and the day before. Everything was fine til the resistor for the heated grip melted into a ball of charred plastic. Then it was COLD!

Too much going on this weekend to ride.
