Did UK or Europe bikes come with rear grab handles? If so, does anyone have picks of where/how they mounted?

From what I understand they did, I bought one off a guy in Utah, basically you have to cut some notches in your rear cowl because they bolt to the two screws that the rear cowl bolt onto.

I'm sorry, it bolts to the subframe with the two bolts near the tail light at the rear cowl, I haven't installed mine, got it with a yoshi pipe for an extra 10 quid. Still have to get this other engine fully installed before I go sweating small stuff like a grab bar.
I could take a pic of the part by itself if you really want to see what it looks like when I get home.

Sweet!! Ok, those ARE the bolts I've been eyeing for using as anchors... Although I may need to clearance the body to get thin barstock or an 'L' bracket out from under the seat at that point.

You would have to cut some notches in your tail cowl at minimum.

I don't run the solo seat cowl, after the battery died, and the cowl stopped me from being able to get the seat off (since the tools to remove the cowl were under the seat).

But I'll definitely look more into those bolts
