Who has the original pics of the 1st VTEC Batallion patch?

I want to see about getting a LARGE patch or flag made of it and I need a better quality pic than what I have in my sig.

I'll be willing to pay to get a copy of the high res pic.

    Let me know.

The Sixth Gen Militia, VTEC Battalion, artwork was done by jasonsmith who is a member here. We had a limited run of patches made up by SilverSurfer, also a member here, but I don't think there are any left.

I quoted that from another thread. Myself and Randy have also been trying to get paws on the original clear detailed pic so that we could make up more patches/decals/other neat 6th gen stuff.

Please let us know if you have any luck with this, I'll be first on the list to buy if you get a run goin!!

I'll need to check my hard drive when my wife let's me use the main computer... To see what I have. I'm not sure what resolution you would need to blow that image up for use on a flag so jasonsmith might have to do something with the original.

I'm on it. I was going to look at another run of patches. Stay tooned. I will post up when I have the original and am ready to order patches. Bear in mind, the patches may be more expensive here in Canuckistan.

I would have offered up the original art, but the machine that contained the .jpg's ate itself a couple months ago. Now that Randy is on board, there is a much better shot as he and JS are friends. Hope you guys get it done.

Ok, the patch file that i have is not that high in resolution but you're more than welcome to it if Jasonsmith does have the hi-res file. PM me an email address and I'll send it to you.

Unfortunately that's the problem we've been running into, we can't find an image that is even halfway clear when blown up to say 8.5X11" (well I haven't anyway). I think if we could get an image that's clear at that size it would be more than enough to make patches and decals again, as cool as a flag may be, it isn't the main drive for this I don't think.

I still have the original proof from the company I used for the first run of patches. Everything is still set up so all you'd have to do is contact them with the proof and re-order. I would suggest simplifying the engine though as some said it was a little cluttered.

If you could call them up and figure out pricing and minimum order we could start another thread for new interest. Or send info to myself and randy, whatever's easier for you. Thanks in advance for the help SS, I've been wanting these for a while now.

SS... I have a friend with some VERY good photo rendering software and he can get the resolution to whatever we need from an original proof JPEG.

Please send me what you have and I will see what he can do.

    Thanks!

Any progress with this yet. I imagine the border would be much easier to render than the engine itself, soooooooooooooo, lookie what I found......

My friend has boosted the resolution of it, but the borders are not well done. I will need to redo the borders so it is more sharp in general, and then re-submit it.

    Thanks for the Engine pic.

Here is the original so kindly sent to me a couple weeks back by our own Jasonsmith. For many reasons, I have not gotten around to sending it off. For some of those same reasons, I am not in a position to have any patches made up. So if anyone wants to take up the challenge, by all means.
