Just received my Honda cases today, can't wait to install them!! I also bought the liners to go with them, figured what the heck I'm already broke. Here are some pics of the best part, opening up the box. 860 pease lane west islip 002.jpg 860 pease lane west islip 001.jpg 860 pease lane west islip 003.jpg 860 pease lane west islip 004.jpg
If anyone has any helpful install tricks I would greatly appreciate them, thanks.

have fun with that. It took me about 3 hours to put them on, and a second person as the support for the bags were not 100% true. It took some man power to hold the bike still and get all of the holes to line up. I didn't put the rear fender back on, just like it better that way. I can send you pics of what it looks like without. I thought I had uploaded some.

At the risk of over simplification, the install is a cakewalk!

    Look at the pictures
    Read the words
Compare the parts to the pictures
    Do what the words say

ASSEMBLE LOOSLEY, DO NOT TIGHTEN ANYTHING UNTIL ASSEMBLY OF THE MOUNTING BRACKETS IS COMPLETE

Tighen and torque all mounting bolts and screws a small amount at a time

Install the bags on the frames

Enjoy the results while liberally flexing your elbow!

Gongrats....They look fantastic. I'm sure you'll love them. Glad to hear the install went smoothly. I've never been able to understand the posted complaints of fit, poor instructions and difficulty of installation.
A few words to the wise if I may.....always ensure the handles are down in position and that the lock has in fact gone through the correct path. If it's difficult to turn the key something is not in it's proper place. The key should always turn with little or no resistance. Some folks have reported twisting the plastic off the key.
Always lift up on the bag before you ride away to be positive it is locked in place. Some folks have had them come off.......can't happen if they are on correctly....and that's the rider's responsibility.
    Ride safe

I have an 03 VFR800A and I'm looking for the OEM bags if anyone knows of somewhere to get them relatively cheap.
