carb kits???

just got 96 vfr 750 and she has been sitting anybody know where i can get carb kits???

 

I ended up going to the dealership for them, my closest dealer: Dallas, TX Sales, Parts & Service Honda Motorcycles, ATV, Scooter & Watercraft. has an online fiche.

 

I don't know of any "kits" per say. When I rebuilt mine for my 93, I had to put the parts together from the fiche and just order them individually. The only thing that I found that came in a kit is the gaskets, and you can't buy those individually, only in kits. The gasket kits tend to be a little pricey, about $100 or so per kit. I got mine from Service Honda.com. You can go to their website and look at the fiche and get part numbers. I've also ordered a few things from a couple of dealers here in CT and when I went in with the part #s from the service honda website, they were a direct match with what they had. So, even if you don't order from them, they are still a good resource for finding parts. Good luck.

The gasket set was what I was considering a kit. I got mine (for a '94) for $26.09 each so around $100 for 4 (maybe that's what afpierce meant by a kit)

 

Just looked on the Service Honda website that I ordered from. $32.18 per gasket kit X4 = $128.72 + shipping. Sorry for the confusion.
