Well, I DID NOT get the news I wanted from the Orthopedics Doc today. My MCL is not healing as fast as I need it too. I originally said it was my LCL, but I got them backwards. My MCL is partially torn & my LCL is fully intact. My knee is not stable enough to bolt in a new ACL & PCL. I have another appointment in 3 weeks to check my progress. My recovery time just jumped by a full month.

As if things couldn't get worse, I have my Dad here finishing some home improvements I was in the middle of when I injured myself. I asked my neighbor to put my 2 bikes in my trailer to free up space for my Dad to work. The red VFR started right up without the slightest hesitation. The yellow VFR? Not so much. After 10 years of faithful companionship & dare I say, friendship, my beloved 00 decided to die on me. My neighbor jumped on it, hit the start button & it cranked about 10 times, proceeded to dump raw gas out the tail pipe & then smelled like burning electrical. Methinks the main fuse holder melted without the fuse blowing. Investigating will have to wait until I can walk.

I need a drink. I think a quadruple double Gentlman Jack should do the trick.

That sucks, what a double whammy. I am having a wiring harness issue with my bike and it ain't pretty:

Today I received the brace I need to wear for probably the rest of my life. That is anytime I do any sporting activity. These things ARE NOT cheap. When I saw the price, I was shocked. After wearing it around for the day, I would have to say this thing is like Robo-Cop's leg.
