Ebay has r/r's from $37. to $120. from Rick's. I know what the Honda oem one looks like so I really don't want that one. However, the one Rick's has looks very similar to the cheaper ones. what makes the $120. part better?

    Thanks.

I saw someone pipe up in chat last night that Rick's was out of stock. Not sure which year VFR he was talking about.

I recently bought one from www.regulatorrectifier.com

Honda changed suppliers for their R/R units after 2000, which was pretty much the end of most of the reported failures on VFR's. I put one from an '04 CBR600RR on my '99 and it has worked fine for 4 yrs. now ~ just have to switch the plug connectors around.

Ricks. After I bought one, I never needed another.

Buy the one from Wire My Bike. It's plug and play and cheaper than buying it from Rick's, even though it's a Rick's R/R.

So I have been searching and cant find a clear answer. There are two regulators you can buy from wiremybike and was wondering if the $60 is as good as the $115 one or do you get what you pay for? I want to get the vfrness as well because I think my r/r needs replacing and I heard this will help with it not going bad again?
