STOCK dont be one of those heinous people that go the route of some anodized chinese crap foot pegs. I wanted to substitute idiot for people in the above sentence but wanted to restrain myself, but the devil had to have me write it anyway. Go on Ebay for some pegs, how the hell did you break it anway?

Go with stock from e-bay if you can. However, if you need a little more room, you can get some pegs from Knight Designs that are 1 inch lower and allow for a little more legroom. They just completed the 4th gen so you have to call, but they should work for the 3rd gen also.

I wasnt going to go the anodized chinese crap, I just figured since the bike is 17yrs old, I wont be able to find OEM pegs.

The bike fell over, sob sob, it wasnt moving, but fell to its left, since it wasnt moving, the peg was the first thing to take the brunt of the fall and it snapped at the hole where the pin goes through it, if the bike had been moving forward at all, the peg would have folded away as designed, but not my luck.

the rear passenger pegs, they look shorter, are they? could I use one of those until I find a replacement?

If you havent guessed, I am pretty green, only had my bike for a month.

My bike has been down on both sides a few times in its life. Tawk about embarrasing, once I slipped in the garage on some crap and the freaking bikie fell on me. Had to yell to my dad to help so I could crawl out from it. Never had a foot peg snap on me and rode home every time with this particular bike. Passenger pegs are different I believe but you could try one. Least the gear shifter and brake pedals are steel and not aluminium, they are tough, (talking from experience). Good solid bike. happy riding.
