the easiest way is to get the URL of the pic and paste it into the message box and surround it with IMG tags

    {IMG}your.picture.name{/IMG}

use left and right braces [ ] instead of the curvy brackets above

Right click the mouse over a picture displayed on the web,
    then select "copy image location",
then type "img" inside of brackets [],
right click and select paste (will insert the copied web address from step 2),
and end with "/img" also inside of brackets []

if your site preferences notify you of thread updates via email; you should see the proper context shown there - check the example below and compare to what the site emailed you:

    OK, here goes
using a picture on your PC
go to TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting
you will see a screen that looks like this:
    click on the BROWSE button
point it at the file on your PC that you want to upload
    click on UPLOAD NOW
your PC will upload the file to tinypic.com
you will then get a screen that looks like this
    [IMG]
select ALL of the text in the line that says IMG CODE FOR FORUMS & MESSAGE BOARDS
copy it by pressing the control+C keys
go to the message box that you would type a post in
press Control+V key to paste the code in
    click on post quick reply
    done

OK I'll see if I can help. You can do it the way people are talking or you can do it this way. First go to your Photo Gallery (or wherever the picture is online), right click and select: Copy Image Location:

Then when typing click the tree (it's not the planet with infinity or the movie reel and should say Insert Image when hovered over) and it will pop up a box, Press Ctrl+v or right click and paste then click ok.

It's easier if you open another tab in your browser, or another browser window, and go to the picture you want to post. As was posted above right click and 'copy image location', then go back to the original tab or window where you're replying or starting a post and type in "[IMG]".

See. here's an image URL: http://resources.motogp.com/files/images/xx/2008/MotoGP/ITA/non/223718_.preview_big.jpg

So I type in the tags with the URL in between and voila, everyone is happy.

Here's a few more just so you get it.
