Consider sending your seat to Spencer at ( Page 1 ). He does a great job and it's pretty cheap at about $75 plus shipping!

I did this for my HawkGT stock seat and love it. I'm getting ready to send him my 02 VFR seat as well.

This thread is further proof that, he who goes unnammed, is only here to stir up shit.

If he was serious about wanting to refoam the seat and not just lazy, he would have searched his own information and came back with ligitimate questions.

2nd, when provided with a thread link, he didn't bother to read it, proven when he was punked by drewl.

    Go away

i ono, the write up wasent exactly waht i was looking for. either way, 1 buy foam, 2 cut foam to shape, wrap foam with plastic leather around seat and attach at back.

Everybody knows that whenever Drewl tells you how to do something, ALWAYS skip to step four......sheesh

    Why?

Because step four is always where he tells you to quit fucking around, knock off the grabasstic moron bit, and do it right

If its in person, step four is usually said with his outdoor voice.

You need to rethink your situation. You cannot afford a new seat. The problem is not that you dont know how to build a seat all by yourself out of popsicles sticks and bread wrappers, its that you are lacking money. Money .... it can be used to buy a really neato seat all built already, just aching to be bolted on in about 2 minutes.

Find something in your ramshackle dwelling to sell to crackheads downtown for money, or turn tricks down at the bus station, or maybe stick up a liquor store......

Use that money to buy a Sargent seat.

    Problem solved.

Thank you, thank you folks, I'll be here all week.

Be sure to tip your waitress.

I wish it were that simple. for you it may be, and if so im glad for you. but for me 450 bucks for a new seat, evcen if the seat is worth the price, is much more than what I can afford. even if i sell a few things.

Not that I'm a cheap bastard, but I went the cheap route and it worked for me...............BeadRider. I bought a set for my CanAm Spyder and found that the rear seat fitted the VFR. I did over 900 miles on a two day ride and had very little discomfort, especially compared with the original which would be painful after about 200 miles.
