FYI - DynoJet sales cannot tell me when the PCV will be available for the new VFR. Fuel Moto, a big PC seller, states that DynoJet tells them that it is to be available on July 16th - but I am not holding my breath! I love the bike but know that it could be a lot better for around town riding where you are working the lower revs.

I called Dynojet a couple of weeks ago, as well.....they gave me the line that they were working through proprietary issues with Honda on the development of the connectors...they said it would be 6 months, or so, before it would be available??? Who knows? I guess they want to keep us guessing as the projected dates are all over the place, according to who you ask.

Fuel Moto (and other vendors) are now listing the PCV for the 1200, but they are pre-orders. They are not expecting them on their shelves until the end of July or very early August.

Just received another update from Dynojet on the Power Commander. They have contacted Honda about their proprietary connector and so far no response. They said that this is typical and the connector is often the hold up.

Actually, I once had a 98 VFR800 and it was much the same situation. I actually sold the bike before the Power Commander was released.

    Bazzaz to the rescue ?

Hopefully Bazzaz will have some products available for the VFR1200F come spring.

I just spoke with them and it was encouraging . Not carved in stone though.

This is what I got back from Power Commander. FWIW, they responded very quickly.

For now, we have decided to not produce a Power Commander for the VFR1200. The installation would be much more difficult than what we can ask of a retail user. Basically you would have to remove the throttle bodies on the bike just to plug it into the bike’s injectors. If you would be willing to do that you could put a 2009 GSXR600 Power Commander on it. It would need to be custom tuned on a dyno.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I called Bazzaz just now; nobody answered, but Il left a message asking if they plan to sell a fuel controller for the VFR 1200.

Their website says still under development. I sent them an email question:
Is it necessary to remove the PAIR system for their auto-tune setup?
Haven't heard back yet from Chris Kelly of Dynojet.

Powercommander just updated their site. They have the unit listed with instructions. They also have 2 maps, one for 2 bro's and one for Jardine.

I've ordered one and will report on any issues with install and performance.

Will have K&N filter installed at same time.

Have Akropovic slip on already installed.

BTW: STRONGLY suggest everyone check into the new lithium ion batteries: Saves almost 10 POUNDS in the weight dept., significant on an already heavy motorcycle.
