Beautiful ride in California

Today was perfect weather for a ride in Northern California and I took a 100 mile ride.
The V4 engine was running perfect.

When I took a couple photos when I came home I made a discovery about my digital camera. Might work on yours.
When I held the camera vertically oriented I got NO flashing back from the license plate, reflectors, or chrome parts that you normally get when holding the camera horizontally.

Those trees in next to your driveway must be massive?

 

Yes.... they are about 100 feet high.
The only time they are a worry is when there are high winds and a tree limb falls to the ground. You can get hurt!

There are NO fast food places in the little town i live in.
This gas station is the main gathering place.

 

I love living in California, you want mountains to snowboard, camp, and go outdoors, head east, want wonderful weather and beaches, head west, want to die because of heat, go south....California even with its problems in government, is undeniably one of the most beautiful states in our country.

 

Love that bike more and more everytime I see it.

 

Where abouts are you? That looks a little familiar...

 

Guerneville, north of Santa Rosa near the coast. Many great roads, just like around Grass Valley just up the road from me. I think I need to plan a ride for this 3 day weekend!
