    Hello everyone,

This is Dave from Baltimore, Maryland, 31 years old and in the military. Just bought a 2007 RWB Interceptor. This is my sixth bike but my first VFR. Love to ride if anyone is in my area. I bought this bike with less than 700 miles on it and the previous owner put a bootleg Vance and Hines exhaust on it. So I am searching for a good exhaust. I still have the stock exhaust so my plan is to put the stock back on and find a god pair of slip-ons. I like my pipes loud and I have hear good things about the following pipes...Staintune/Erion and Leo vince and two brothers but I have not heard these two without the baffles. Don't know if I love or hate the Laser 4 into 4 exhaust..any info or suggestions would be appreciated. To all me fellow brothers and sisters who ride..be safe.

    -Dave aka WINGless

Welcome Dave. You should enjoy this site. Yes you should get some replies on the pipes. Try doing a search on exhaust on here. You should find a few threads.

Welcome, congrats on the 07, and thanks for your service to our country.

    Pics are required ASAP! :)

Here's a vid of my aluminum Leo Vince Pipes. Pardon any quality issues as it was shot with my Droid.

    Welcome Dave.

KC-10A Flight Engineer, MSgt (E-7), McGuire AFB, NJ.

As far as the exhaust goes, you can never go wrong with Staintune. If there is a higher quality example on the market, I'd like to see it. As far as looks goes, I must say the best looking exhaust for the 6th Gen's is the Two Bros.

    KC-10 FE out...

Listen to KC, He is always right and will be the first one to tell you so. The flaw in this particular "my way or the highway" personnification, is that ol KC has not seen all the various exhaust systems for your VFR except in magazines and even that is doubtful since his pay grade would couldn't support buying all those magzines by subscription much less at retail. ... The translation costs would only add to it. Unless ol CK speaks Czech, Russian and Chinese.

If you gut a muffler you are fooling with a bunch of engineering that went into same. Taking a noisy bike on base or post and upsetting some field grade or buddy of the base commander who likes things quiet will lose you the bike.

For a taste of what a DIY can mod might sound like, unbolt the muffler at the end of the header collector and run the engine up to about six grand.

Welcome aboard. You should be able to find lots of exhaust info on this site,

    however, remember that "noise annoys".

    IMHO, stock is king ~
