Hey, welcome to the group. I haven't heard of a 50th Aniversary and expecially not for the VFR. The 25th Aniversary is the RWB (Red/White/Blue) 07 VFR. Someone else may have heard of a special edition, though. Merry Christmas to you too. Again, welcome to the group.

Ok. look at this special edition :

Perhaps,it's only a french special edition.
You see the special "HM" logo on the tank ?
It's not mine on the pic...
I haven't got an exaust like that, now it's impossible to ride with a noisy bike in France!

    Hi Fabzer,

Welcome to the forum, Not sure if they had Honda's 50th in America, I think they had a Dealer made 50th year special with a very different paint scheme and uprated rear shock.

I have a 50th Anniversary Klingon in Australia, you see a couple around, the colour scheme is one of hit and miss with some kindly teasing suggesting it looks like a miss matched parts bin slap together.

My opinion is the scheme has grown on me and it also is based on Hondas famous racing teams of the '60's hence the Red / Silver main colour with gold pin stripe detailing and ye olde Honda wings on the tank.

Here is a picture of mine

Ok. I remember the paint scheme now. One of our members in Austrailia I think has one.

Runs to search the photo gallery.......

Found it! VFRKitten has one. It is an anniversary edition. She does not mention in the descriptions if it is a particular year (i.e. 20th, 25th, etc).

An article here states it is a 50th anniversary model. I take it from the article it is based on the RC bikes that gave Honda the win at the Isle of Man TT (in 49?) in which that paint scheme was used. I have not found much other than that but it was only a quick search.

welcome to vfrworld. glad to have you. how's the weather there this time of year? I was thinking it is pretty cold. I ride a 5g also, but in the solid red paint. (I keep telling these guys that red is faster but some of them just won't listen) hehe
