I got my wife her own to learn on a honda GB500. Sweet little bike and she did well with it. After learning though she decided she could not ride on the street without sitting behing me so on it went

I don't have to not let her, she doesn't even like touching the bike, says its my other love and she doesn't want to get in the way of my little affair. Wish it was that easy with the college girl next door...

Seriously, she won't ride mine, buts wants one of her own. Won't ride on the back either. Someday she'll get one.

I have let her ride all the bikes I had. Yes, my CB750 spent more time on it's stator cover than on rubber the first time around. She would have never wanted a VFR if I never let her ride my Magna V45. She has rode the FZ1000 and she had a VLX 600 at the time. We switched bikes and it took me forever to catch her on that dog. The VFR is about the perfect bike for now.

Mine doesn't want to hunt or play golf or ride a motorcycle by herself, all of which I enjoy doing and the would suck if she came along. We can do trips together which is great.

Emma? Not a chance! She's working on her license, then we've gotta get her thru her MSF class; then, if all is well, we'll get her a Ninja 250.

what some guys here told me with my wife, was to get a ninja 500. the weight is about the same, and its not way to much power, but its not so hard to grow out of in the first few months. just an idea.

For some reason, the thought of you roaming around the woods with a gun makes me sad
