I was wondering if anyone has connected up or looked in to connecting up the side lights on their VFR800/Interceptor 2002 onwards. My old bike from when I lived in the UK had little lights in the front at the bottom inner corners. I was thinking of wiring them in on my current bike. Is it missing the wiring to do this or is it to much hassel so don't even bother trying.
    Thanks

I think that PIAA makes some that go on the bottom of the forks and I can't imagine that they would be difficult to install at all. Is this similar to what you are trying to achieve?

The lights I mean are built in to the headlights themselves and are on the left headlight it is very bottom right and on the right headlight it is very bottom left. On this youtube video at the very end at 3.24 you can see the two little triangles where the nose cone is pointed. This is caused by these little lights. If you turn the key past the start point to park then these stay on as your parking lights.

I'd always thought something else belonged in there. Why the hell does the US get screwed on all the good shit? I'd say that it would be easy to do if you had some UK/Aussie/Jap headlight buckets but not worth trying to do it for your US headlight buckets.

I can see the holes for them on mine, maybe can mount whatever color led in there?

It just so happens that I had my upper cowl off today and took a brief peek at those. The holes on the back side appeared to just have a rubber plug covering the hole so if you could find the correct bulb I'm sure that it would be simple to wire something up for it.
