The dirty girl looks to be in pretty good shape and she sounds good too. How many miles on her?

thats pretty funny.......but you want to be careful you don't rev it too much....being as old as "she", the stud Interceptor, is you might end up throwing a valve or spinning your main bearing thrusters.....I mean who would want to ride such an ancient relic....It is left over from the dinosaur age..I bet if you cut open on of the tires it would be made of rock..........Oh wait you didn't have a question about it not running unless you had it fully choked...in that case... nice bike "she " looks good... I would say more like a manatee than a platypus[IMG]

notice the similarities in the ass ends......

Personally I have not re-jetted the carbs, not sure about the previous owner who actually put the F1Rs on. How would it benefit in doing that?

This would supposedly bring you back to stock HP...I personally dont think you should concern yourself with it unless you remove the collector.slip-ons and go with a 2-2 or 4-1 setup.

I probably wont worry about it. You got F1's on your 86 mob? How you like them? Baltimore, I grew up in Silver Spring, MD and currently reside right outside Harrisburg, PA, up I-83

The F-1s sound good, but not as deep a tone as I might like...I am working on restoring a set of V&H 2-2 as part of my REBUILD.

I know New Cumberland well...lived there for a number of years and my father (in Camp Hill actually) still does. Been meaning to get up that way before fall...we should hook up for a ride

Yea man, thats a project you got on your hands. Ive been wanting to do two things with mine. Eliminate front fairing/windshield but need a small backing for spedometer dash, just not sure what to do there. I want a true streetfighter look. Also, possible do something to the tail, i like the 86's tail end.

If you are ever coming up we should def take a ride, im not sure about the best roads around here since i just got my bike a few months ago but im sure we can come up with something.
