Well, I finally picked her up yesterday!

She is complete with everything except the HeliBars, they're on order and the dealer will install them when I go in for my 500 mile service; then she'll be complete.

Also check out the $800 X-Twelve Shoei in matching color scheme I treated myself to; it sure is light.

85 mile ride home, with some nice, curvy back roads; unfortunately I had to keep it under 5k (rpm's) and couldn't really cook the corners, cause had to wait the 75 miles or so to get the wax off the tires. But, even then, she handles unbelievably! I cannot wait until I get past the 8k mark, so I can really start to open her up!

Enjoy the shots from the dealer, as I was taking her on her maiden voyage!

Sweet bike... Love the Color and the uniqueness of it!

Hows the wind noise with the new lid? I'm looking for something new and getting kind of tired of the loud lids.

8K? Pfft, run it like you stole it! This is of course my opinion on breaking in a motor. In my experience this has always ended up with a stronger running motor, again this is just my opinion.

I had an RF1000 last time. I wouldn't say this one is dramatically quieter, but I didn't have issues with my RF1000 either. It IS dramatically lighter, and flows MUCH more air thru it.

    I'll do what I can...

Um, goes with "the few" statement; because it is the only service where you have to earn the title, and frankly, many can't make the cut.

Thanks to everyone for the kinds words about the new girl... I'll post a ride report after I've gotten to heat her up a bit...

Most passed the IQ test and joined the other services.

just so its not a thread jacking.....Triumph is my second bike of choice..although I am partial to the speed triple with that Lime green paint scheme......
