I'm off leash from about 10:30am and have to be back by 4pm. Was thinking of heading anywhere North and West of Tappan Zee bridge. Looking for twisties. Anyone want to join?

We had a great ride, up to Hawk's nest (my first time), heavy traffic on the way out, much better on the way back in. It's a real nice switchback road, but too short (like all of them)...

Midlife (who I think should change his name to "crazy eyes" lol), led most of the way and we found a few opportunities to get em leaned over.

Interesting Harley experience, 4 guys in front of us, dragging the whole line of traffic down. They were cruising at 10 mph below the speed limit for a good 15 minutes, and before every turn would brake even more. I thought I was back in Florida at early bird special time, unreal... We finally got a chance to pass them though, thankfully. Also, a guy on a Harley coming the other way throws a wave at those 4 clowns, then pulls up his hand as we go by, WTF??

Sometimes I wonder if a some (not all) of these Harley guys buy them to compensate for poor riding skills and poor self esteem. Oh well... I still wave at everybody on 2 wheels.

I think the next time I will run up north and meet Midlife around his home turf, those roads look incredible in Ulster County, and a lot less traffic. Hopefully you can join us for the next one Pocono.

Midlife, thanks again man, I enjoyed the ride and the company, see you soon for the next one
