I have a 2004 5th Generation VFR, recently when I start my bike I here a click sound which last for a minute or so. I thought it was low oil level. After it continue, I brought it to a motorcycle mechanic who told me that it was the 'Camshaft adjuster', has anyone had this challenge and has anyone replaced this themselves and is it difficult?

    True Brit...

Perhaps it's the cam chain tensioner? Those seem to be a fairly common issue on the 6th gen's. BTW I don't know how the generations go in the UK but in the states, the 2004 is a 6th generation....?
