    Hi guys,

I've lowered my 6th gen VFR by about an inch with a dogbone and short side stand from Sigma Cycles.

I now find it a pain in the but to have to be 2 people to put it on the center stand.

Has anyone ever shortened their center stand? I would like to know if someone knows the best way to go about doing this. Would it be as simple as repositioning the side lever, cutting the stand 1" and welding new plates to the bottom?

    Thanks for your help,

    Frank

I have the same problem. Currently, I'm using a board that I roll the rear wheel on to use the center stand. I have one cut down that fits in my side case. But I would like to figure out a welding solution to this problem.
