    Hi All

My "new" old VF750S arrived at the weekend without an owners manual and very low pressures in the tires/tyres....a search on the net gave answers varying from 32psi front & rear to 34psi front and 38 rear.

Anyone know what I should be running on ?

    thanks for any help.

    cheers

    Truggs

Tire pressures tend to be set based on the tire, not the bike... What Brand/Model are the tires? You're also going to have different front vs rear tire pressures...

from memory they are Michelin Macadam's - will double check which model and confirm. I was going to run 33 front and 36 rear just as a guess...

    Front
    110/90-18 61H
    Rear
    130/90-17 68H

Cold tire pressure, psi (kPa, kg/cm2)

Up to 90 kg (200 lbs) load
    front 32 (225,2.25)
    rear 32 (225, 2.25)

90 kg (200 lbs) load to vehicle capacity load
    front 32 (225,2.25)
    rear 40 (280, 2.80)

    tires (1982!) :
    Bridgestone L303 G508
    Dunlop F11 K127C

I use Bridgestone or AVON (made in UK)
and have rear tire slightly harder: 2.5 = 35.5 psi

i have an electronic copy of the manual if you need it. how many miles does it have on it? those suffered from the soft cam/oiling problem. when riding all ways try to keep the revs over 3000 unless you have an oil kit on it.
