My garage is just a one car garage.
I have a tool box and welding machine, and I built a tubing bending machine.

    Thanks VFR capn!

Now I need to get one of the more mundane jobs done. Valve adjustment.
When I got the engine it had really black oil in it. It took 3 oil changes and a filter to get the oil clean looking again. Now I have synthetic blend in it.
That engine got a whole new life again. Who knows maybe it will end up back in a restoration of a Generation 1 bike.

The radiator is from a VF1100. Works great.

Great job Don. Bike looks good and different. Never saw a V4 chopper before and like it. How's it handle for you and does that spring seat actually work?

This bike seems even better than my last bike. They both had 42ยบ rake but these forks are longer. The seat works very well . I built 5 seats before this one. And this is still the best design. It is made from a tractor seat that has been modified. There is NO foam seat that will compete with a spring mounted seat. Harley knew what they were doing. This seat has good lower back support.

Very nice ride. Just cant go wrong with Black and Chrome. I'll bet the sound has the Harley guys scratching there heads as you approach. Does the one radiator cool it enough? Seems small, but if it works ...

LOL good point about the sound, "where's that blub blub sound"?

That's a very nice looking bike, gives the OCC a run for their money!

    Yes.
It is a radiator from a HONDA VF1100.
Also the engine can get a lot of cool air all around from not having a fairing.

This winter I am going to build a custom gas tank for the bike.

I'm diggin' it man. Love the "springer" front end and the seat looks surprisingly comfortable. Got any pics from the rear? What size wheel/tire are you running? Can't tell how wide from the pics.

What's left, aside from the mechanical stuff (ie valve adj)? Rear fender? Can't really tell from the pic what you've got goin' on back there.

Any thoughts about ditching those reflectors?? I know that they always show up a lot more in photos than in real life, but they kind of draw the eye in pictures ;)

I think you should light it up with remote control LEDs.... green would look killer :thumb: well done!!

Looks cool Donnie. How many miles can you get out of that small of a tank? I'm guessing it's like 3.5 gallons?

looks good Don. Truly one of a kind. I bet you get a lot of "WTF is that?" when you take it out... It's gonna take someone who really knows engines to spot it and figure it out without you telling them....
