Can anyone suggest where to find or better yet show me a picture of their tail cover (not sure if I'm calling it the right name or not, covers the passenger seat) and where to buy one. Also I removed my "grab handles" for the passenger thinking it would be that easy & to my disgust there are two rectangle shaped voids left, what can I install in place of them? Is there a part I can order?

    Again thanks in advanced!

The 2002-2009 VFR came with little covers that snap into place after the grab handles are removed. If you bought your bike new then it should have come with those pieces. If not check this link to find them...

    Grab Handle Cover LINK!!

The rear cowl is there too. Just click on "Body & Fenders" then select the "Rear Cowl" diagram.

Check ebay as well, i recently had to purchase both parts again and managed with a little patience to get them for $15 combined, collect them and job done. They were perfect condition as well. Part names are correct in first posted reply.

    Good luck.

I bought both the seat cowl and the grab handle blanks from eBay.

    yes sir that is true!

Lifting the bike on the center stand is hard to do without the rear left peg. (oil the chain every 500 miles and use it) and it would look silly methinks with just one. or would it?

Yes, lol it would look silly!

Lifting without the rear peg bracket is a little harder but far from impossible, since the mounting bracket still protrudes down. You're not really "lifting" the bike as much as youre "pushing down" with your foot on the center stand. It can easily be done without it.

According to the parts fiche, they're around $9 each .....

Ohio, Florida, Honda, Parts, Accessories, dealer, Honda Direct LIne

I'd check ebay first, just to make sure you can't find any cheaper. $20 for those tiny plastic things is ridiculous, but ... what are ya gonna do
