I would like to replace the OEM mirrors with stem type, know what might work? Also looking for some of those rubber nuts with the copper threads that secure the side pannels to the front fairing. The Honda dealer want rediculas prices for those little buggers. Any suggestion or modifcations that could or do work would be appriciated.

I have stem type mirrors on my ER-6N and they vibrate so bad I couldnt tell you what kind of vehicle is behind me. I know there's something there, but hell it could be a UFO for all I know.

The OEM mirrors from the '00-'01 5th gen will bolt right up and are the stem type.

I have an '01 and I wouldn't call them stem mount. I do like them and I guess they are the holy grail of the whole bike cause I NEVER see them on ebay. In all the years I've only seen one pair and they sold last week.

    Right answer

I'm excited to know the 01's will fit. thanks. There is a M/C Salvage yard up the street and I will see if my friend there can locate some at a decent price.

    Thanks and God bless you.

I was referring to my ER-6n's mirrors that are just like the pic I posted.
