all stock except for supertrapp exhaust with 8 discs and an efm autoclutch ...we just cleaned and synced the carbs too....made a big difference. i'll set up a myspace link later with tons of pics and a couple vids....gotta work on a couple more things to get ready for the road still . definetly more test riding tomorrow...maybe tomorrow i'll get the balls to give it full throttle and maybe shift into second...its a-lot more powrful than my old bike 78 hondamatic 400 auto lol 27hp

why on the wrong side of the road?

because its our personal non thru street....oh ya and cause were all crazy on this side of the block....LOL

oh dang i just realized i must have put the sidecar on the wrong side of the bike...thats why the left side felt soooo right :)
    oh well too late now

no no..for real though...i was simply giving myself space in case of mechanical failure since it was the maiden voyage...i was kinda in the middle of the road most of the time.

Not impressed unless I see a wheelie.

ha ha ha, seriously that's a pretty cool mod. I gotta give props for the weld and fabrication work!

Good on ya bro! I determination in admirable!

Would you mind sharing a bit on the mechanical operation? I'm curios how you operate throttle, brake, clutch, turn signals, etc.

Keep us in the loop dude.

for the throttle i used a clutch lever so i can push on it to gas...for brakes i turned a front br lever around backwards so i can push on it to brake.to shift i ran a long bar down next to me then pivots across to the shifter side but theres no clutch needed as im running an efm autoclutch....since my hands dont work because of being paralysed, i made a wrist control that i put my arm in and velcro straps snug...then ran a tie rod from handle bars over to steering out rigger i made.
for blinkers,i put them on a 3 way toggle mounted on my dash panel as well as all other neccessary switches.

ITS GONNA DROP JAWS guaranteed!!! the tricky part im workin on now is a different throttle set up....i've been hittin a lever with my left hand but found out theres no way to shift with my left hand...cause when i let off the throttle theres too much engine breaking to allow shifts.....SOO ...back to the drawing board.....my right hand velcros to a swivaling hand grip on the right so im gonna make it so i can throttle and steer with my right....
that should allow me to shift since i'll have throttle control at the same time as shifting......im keepin my fingers crossed on that one(even if i do have to duct tape them that way) ....this whole ride depends on that working out...im gonna start fabing up a design tomorrow.

Sweet deal man. What level are you? Have you looked at the controls they use in cars for inspiration? Kudos for keeping the dream alive.
