Today I started the bike in gear even though I saw the neutral light come on. I assume it just wasn't clicked in gear good enough. The only damage sustained was a very small ding in the gas tank (all the plastic was ok). So I thought I would look into a Mag Knight tank bra to cover it up and for future protection. I found a good deal on a carbon fiber one but was wondering if y'all thought it would look silly on the RWB?

I had to look so hard to find a ding, I wouldn't even worry about it, you are the only one who will notice it and you'll still know it's there no matter what you stick over it. And yes, I do think a carbon fibber tank cover would look silly, IMO.

It attaches with 3M double-sided tape. Placement is a little tricky, you have to take your time and make sure its in the right place.

Where did you get the passenger seat cover?

And +1 on the GCC tank cover, I have one too.

Thanks, hows it compare quality wise to the GCC stuff?

Hmmm, Do I really want the carbon fiber goods of 4 different manufactures on my bike? Got GCC, Thurn, and Hondaline already...

The quality of the carbon fiber itself is great, and thick(you could park a truck on it). it did have some minor fitment issues though, had to bend the tabs around a little to get it to fit right.
