Bought a VF700F off a guy here few months back, wanted to show him the new paint job.

I bought a bike of a nice guy way west in Illinois, it was an Orange VF700F 84 interceptor.

still in 2nd phase of paint job, but I think it going well.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My personal opinion is that a bike like that should be brought back to it's original glory.

I do have a vf500 I'm bringing back to it original colors. ill give this a year then ill prob bring his one back the the ed white and blue , too.

 

With a paint job like that a stretched out swing arm is mandatory.

I did a Ninja 250 in flourescent yellow and black a couple of years ago, also high vilibility:

You planning on adding some more black graphics in the tail? I was thinking it may bring it all together. Bonus points on the 500 plan.

 

Ya I am, going to get some new side panels, the ones I have the pegs are broken. Plan on covering it with Chicago clubs and bar sticker. sort of a ChiTown racer. Add the number 6 one 3 side. lil devil bike, since most of the clubs and bars are lets say more punk goth places.
I'll post more pics when I get some.
the 500 is on hold got to work on the engine more, figure get my ride in now rebuild in the winter

 

having to do some repairs due to being rear-ended at a stop light. light turned green at he hit me,. LOL said he didnt see me, im yellow.
i'll have an up date after the repairs

 

MAN! That Sucks!...

 

A kid I went to high school with made a left turn into a big, giant orange school bus. He did not turn in front of it; he hit it right about in the middle of it's length. Same reason; he said he didn't see it...

I did not do it as a result of damage but I rebuilt the sub frame on the misses gen 3. It now holds a Yam R6 tail.

 

going to slip in a solid steel shim to help support the back, think i can take a 400 chick now LOL , may blow the back tire tho.

 

finished the frame looks good and is solid.
used the old side grips to help align the back.
