6th Gen Brake Bleed Question

I'm bleeding the brakes on my 6th Gen (2007 non-abs) and the service manual states that I have to bleed the the rear proportional control valve located on the right side behind the seat rail cover. I am unable to find a bleed nipple anywhere and was wondering if this step only applies to ABS models? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm about to just take my 2003 (with ABS) to Marietta Motorsports and let them do it (as well as install my new sprockets & chain). I never was that good with bleeding my FZ1 and it wasn't ABS and was easy. I just don't have the patience for this!

 

I don't recall needing to do that when I bled mine back around January; I bled from the calipers using my Mityvac and all went smoothly.

 

We ran into this a while back, I'll see if I can find the pics I posted of mine. In general, if it aint there, don't worry about it!

Hope that answers the question. I'm not really sure if it's an ABS only thing or if they did away with it in the gen6.5
